Join the Destiny Dance Competition Team!

Destiny Dance Team is thrilled to welcome you! Your dancer will have the fantastic opportunity to compete in four different competitions and perform three to four dance pieces throughout the school year at various competitive events. Being on the dance team is an incredible bonding and team-building experience. We count on each team member every week, and unlike recreational lessons, consistent attendance is crucial.

Being part of the Destiny Dance team is a commitment. We have a limited time to get choreography and stamina ingrained in their bodies. Your dancer will have required rehearsals and lesson days. Rehearsals are on set days, while lessons can be scheduled based on your convenience and the schedule that we have in place. However, it's essential to attend the lessons needed to build the technique for choreography during rehearsals.

The 2025-2026 Destiny Dance Competition Team will have weekly lessons in Jazz, Hip-Hop, Ballet, Acro, Modern, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Stretch Technique starting in August 2025.

We can't wait to see your dancer shine with the Destiny Dance team this coming school year! In addition to competitions and performances, our team will also have the exciting opportunity to participate in Disney World's Dance the World Tour, taking place from July 9–14, 2026. This unique experience allows dancers to perform in a Disney parade, compete in two solo pieces, and perform in one large group piece on a national stage.

Please note that this event is separate from the regular competition team package and will have its own registration and cost. A travel agent will be sending a full package this week outlining the pricing and all the exciting experiences included in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

We will once again be partnering with James School of Dance Arts (JSDA) this summer for our two-week Harmony in Motion intensive, held from August 4–8 and August 11–15, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day. Last year was such a great experience, and we are excited to continue this collaboration to give our students more opportunities to grow through summer training.

If you know of any eager dancers who may be interested in joining this year, we will be holding auditions on August 20, 22, 27, and 29 during our scheduled lessons.

Please see below for a breakdown of payments and plans for the school year.

🎉 Fundraising Opportunities

We understand that travel and event costs can add up. That’s why we’ll begin fundraising activities this August to help offset the costs. One of the top fundraisers we recommend is Double Good Popcorn, which has proven successful for many groups.

We are also open to your ideas! If you know of any great fundraising opportunities, please don’t hesitate to share. We want every family who is interested in attending to feel supported.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity for our dancers to grow, shine, and celebrate their hard work—and we can’t wait to see them light up Disney with their talent and spirit!

Please reach out if you have any immediate questions. We’ll be hosting an informational Zoom session later this summer as well, so please be on the look out.

Let’s make this trip magical—together.
